Introduction

Welcome to the trophy guide for Our World Is Ended. This game is a visual novel meaning the core gameplay revolves around reading text, making choices and influencing the story. Trophy-wise, this game is pretty simple you basically just need to see everything but one of those trophies can be incredibly frustrating if you aren't careful so the potential time investment could double or triple easily.

Stage 1: Clear the game normally without a guide

On your first playthrough you can't get any of the branching endings, only the normal ending, so if you're interested in actually playing the game feel free to sit back and relax without any guide and come back here when you finish your first playthrough.

Playing through the game for the first time will unlock a large portion of the trophies as there is one attached to each chapter. Don't be alarmed when the game ends at chapter 15 without giving you all the chapter trophies - you will earn the rest on your second playthrough.

All the ending and event trophies are technically missable if you make a wrong choice, but a full playthrough can take about 15 minutes if you're going for these specifically and you're going to have to play through the game multiple times so if you're following the guides on this page don't let the missables stress you out.

There's nothing to gain by playing this game with a guide on your first playthrough so feel free to sit back and relax while you get acquainted with the mechanics.

Stage 2: Pass through every route and explore every dialogue as you go

This is where things get tedious. Excluding the normal end there are 7 different routes you need to pass through which is easy enough with the guides attached to each trophy. But the kicker is that you have to select every single branching option in the game and there are plenty of choices that are only possible to reach on specific routes so you want to be working towards this while going through every route. If you aren't careful and accidentally miss one; you're probably going to have to do all seven routes again looking for it.

It's very important not to underestimate how frustrating this stage can be. There are countless people who have missed one branching option with no idea where to find it only to have to repeatedly search every option in every route over and over and yes, this does include SOS events.

Tips

Quicksave

This platinum trophy will have you searching every single line of dialogue. The most efficient way to go through these hundreds of branching dialogue options is to use the quicksave and quickload options. The L1 button will quicksave and R1 will quickload. This will be expanded on in detail in Our Choice Has Ended.

Text skip

This game has two forms of text skip. There's the typical form that can be activated with L2 for any text you've already seen (or all text if you change the option in settings) and a section skip that can be activated with the OPTIONS button. There have been reports of trophies relating to CG and branching choice selection not unlocking when using OPTIONS so play it safe and only use the L2 method. If, however, you make a mistake of some sort, such as if you accidentally quick save instead of quick load and have to start over, OPTIONS can be used to quickly get back to where you were as long as you are absolutely sure there is nothing you are missing by skipping over.

Our World Is Ended Trophy/Achievement Guide

Our Trophy Quest Has Ended

All trophies acquired! Good job!

Our CG Collection Has Ended

Viewed every Event CG. Nice!

While this sounds about as daunting as the branching choice trophy, don't be alarmed, this is basically unmissable if you're going for the platinum. The majority of CGs will unlock naturally over the course of the game but there are some that are route-specific. This will unlock by the time you finish all the endings, namely: Owari, Asano, Natsumi, Tatiana and Yuno. Reina's ending has no unique CGs.

IMPORTANT:

There have been reports that using OPTIONS to skip over scenes that CGs are shown in will make it so they do not unlock in the gallery and will cause this trophy to not pop. To be safe only use L2 as a way to skip, it's not as fast but you will not have any issues with trophies if you stay with it.

Our Choice Has Ended

Selected every branching choice. Wow!

This is the trophy that will take up the most of your time and if you're not careful, cause you to tear your hair out.

As far as the options go there are three main elements that need to be selected:

  • Static choices - Your standard static visual novel choices where you're given a number of options and have to choose one.

  • SOS events - An interesting new type of choice where all the things you can saywill flash by on screen and you have to quickly choose one.

  • Saying nothing - If you take too long to answer an SOS event and all the options float off screen your character will not respond. This counts as a selection, you need to do this for every SOS event!

You can tell when a choice has been registered towards this trophy because whether it is SOS or static it will be greyed out when revisiting. Some of the SOS options lead to the same set of dialogue, e.g. if you have the option to respond "No!" and "No way!" and selecting "No!" causes "No way!" to be greyed out in the same shade as seen choices, then you don't need to see both. But as this is a temperamental trophy, it's recommended to just do both versions anyway because many have expressed their doubts about the effectiveness of this greyed out system and it takes barely any extra time to just select it while you're there.

There are hundreds of choices that need to be covered in this game (mostly SOS) so doing this naturally isn't ideal at all. Instead, to work towards collecting every choice, you want to take advantage of the quicksave function after getting the normal end. When you start a new playthrough to start working through the various ending and event trophies you will want to use quicksave to explore every single one of these choices as they come up. Following the guides under each relevant route trophy through each ending will lead you through every choice required for the platinum; including the highly missable route specific ones. You can quicksave using L1 at any time and load it with R1. Whenever an SOS event or static choice comes up you want to quicksave, choose the first option, let the dialogue progress far enough to make sure it registers, then quickload and choose the next option. The L2 skip option is very accommodating for this because in the event of SOS events it'll stop skipping on the line before the SOS triggers so you can place a quicksave before advancing and in the case of static choices, you can quicksave at the actual choice selection. You can't quicksave when an SOS event triggers so if you're reading it naturally instead of skipping (which likely won't be the case since you'll be doing this on the second playthrough) you'll likely wander into SOS events unintentionally. If this is the case, you can use the backlog feature to jump back to before the event and set it right.

Some things of note:

  • It is far to difficult to gauge exactly how much of the text you have to see after every different choice for it to register as being selected. A safe amount seems to be advancing until the next scene transition. Waiting until the next transition is slight overkill and it takes a little longer to do but it's better to be safe than sorry.

  • The trophy unlocks a little while after the choice selection which indicates that it is very likely you need to actually see the text following choices instead of just clicking a selection then reloading.

  • It is currently unknown whether or not using OPTIONS to skip the text after a choice makes it fail to be registered in the same way that it does with the Our CG Collection Has Ended trophy. As with every part of this game, it is not advised to use it at all because this trophy is already frustrating enough.

  • In addition to quicksaving, you can also hold many regular saves within the pause menu. You can only hold one quicksave at a time so be sure to do the occasional regular save too for added security if you feel the need. It is very easy to mix up the buttons for quicksave and quickload which means not being able to reload for the next choice. If you accidentally do this, take advantage of the backlog to move back to before the choice and try again.

Our Owari Is Ended

Got the Owari Ending.

To get this and all other ending trophies you need to build up affection for the mentioned character. Following the text or video guide below will earn this and the trophy for that person's events. The guide lists every input you will make through the entire playthrough in chronological order. Not all of them are necessary but you should still choose the listed options to ensure you don't accidentally develop affection with another character. For each route there are barely any SOS events that are affection altering. To ensure you stay on the right route simply ignore all SOS events that aren't listed in the walkthrough. The few that are necessary are placed within the chronological order.

Example:

  • This is an example of a static choice!

  • SOS Event: Example choice!

This means that when you have a choice to make "this is an example of a static choice!" will be one of the options available and that you must select it. After that, the next input required will be in an SOS event and "Example choice!" is the floating piece of text within that event you need to select. The game will stop skipping before an SOS event begins so as long as you're aware that it's coming you wont accidentally enter in to it and miss it.

There have been several updates and corrections to the in-game text so it's possible the phrasing might not match entirely. If this is the case choose the option that has the same meaning.

After starting a new game make the following choices throughout the game to reach this ending:

  • Owari-San once I'm done gather my remains

  • Let's just go all out today

  • How do you have fun with it

  • Leave

  • We'll have a party some other time

  • The flat screen TV

  • Not just saddening and unfortunate

  • English

  • Go to the store

  • I can't find the right words for this

  • Water

  • Do you think you'll get along with the others

  • I have nothing I want to ask

  • She's coming back with us

  • SOS Event: Zero return program

  • Nothing better than imagination

  • You can't run away

  • SOS Event: An elementary schooler with those breasts!?

  • Well I guess

  • What do you like about floral

  • I'll stay here until you fall asleep

  • Owari-san

  • SOS Event: No no my boy it's left swing a bit to the left

  • Just staying here is enough

  • I knew it

  • If it goes well I want a reward

  • SOS Event: Show it to me too

  • SOS Event: We should be moving ahead but I agree

  • Can't we do anything with your app Owari-san

  • Please come back to us no matter what

Our Reina Has Ended

Got The Reina Ending

This ending is a bit different to the rest because it won't lead into the true ending and instead acts as a sort of dead end. You earn this by building up affection with Reina at every possible moment and keeping the affection with all other characters as low as possible. The guide below lists every input you will make through the entire playthrough in chronological order. Not all of them are necessary but you should still choose the listed options to ensure you don't accidentally develop affection with another character. Our Prologue Is Ended through Our 15th Chapter Has Ended

Completing the Prologue + first 15 chapters.

Start a new game and progress the text. The Prologue as well as the first 15 chapter related trophies are completely unavoidable and will unlock as you progress no matter what decisions you make. You will get all sixteen of these trophies naturally on your first play through and the game will end with chapter 15.

Our 16th Chapter Has Ended. Our 17th Chapter Has Ended, Our Epilogue Is Ended

Cleared Chapter 16, 17 and epilogue

These three trophies are story related trophies but cannot be unlocked the first time you play the game. After completing the game once and unlocking the normal ending you will now be able to play through the routes for each character and unlock these trophies. There are multiple routes you can choose from all of which will reach here excluding the one for Reina so feel free to pick your preference.

Our Normal End Has Ended

Got the Normal End... Hurray?

This will be the ending you receive on your first playthrough. The true ending and character-specific routes will all be locked on your first time through and instead you will end your story here after chapter 15.

Our Summer With Owari, Iruka, Asano, Natsumi, Tatiana & Yuna Has Ended

Viewed all of their events.

Events are scenes that trigger when you have enough affection for one person. You can only see one person's events per playthrough and they happen at fixed points in the story. Each event trophy will unlock while you head towards that characters ending if you're following this guide. For more information see each individual character's route trophy as they will unlock all relevant events for the same character too.

Our First S.O.S Has Ended

Tried out the S.O.S. System!

This will happen very early in the game. An SOS event is a new type of choice for this visual novel where all your response options will move across the screen. Use the directional pad to move between these floating sentences and make your selection to earn this trophy. Simple!

Our Time Has Ended

You failed to choose on the S.O.S.

This can be unlocked very early in the game. SOS events are a form of dialogue choice where all the available options will scroll across the screen and you will encounter dozens in the game. To get this trophy simply let all the SOS choice options in any given SOS event progress off the screen. The dialogue will reflect that you made no choice and you'll have an easy trophy. There are a very large amount of these events so you will have plenty of opportunity to unlock this. You will also need to do this 20 times for Our Resolve Has Ended and for every single SOS event for Our Choice Has Ended.

Our Resolve Has Ended

You failed to choose on the S.O.S. 20 Times!

Yikes!

As with Our Time Has Ended you can fail SOS events by simply letting all choice options in an SOS event progress off the screen. Do this 20 different times for an easy trophy. You have to fail all SOS events for Our Choice Has Ended so this will be unmissable if you plan to collect all trophies.
